In Love with Hokkaido の Sayonara Hokkaido

My Love @ Hokkaido, Odori Park.

4 days in Hokkaido has passes. Check out what I've done for this few days :-

It's the 5th day, also the last day that we spend time in Hokkaido, tomorrow early morning, we have to say bye bye to my love - Hokkaido ~ Sayonara ~ *sob*

1st stop of today's trip, the Odori Park. Located not far from our hotel, 5 minutes drive, and we are here.

Odori Park (大通公園, Ōdōri Kōen) is the broad median of Odori ("large street") in the center of Sapporo, separating the city into north and south. The park stretches about a kilometer and a half over twelve city blocks and offers pleasant green space during the warmer months. In early February, the park serves as the main site of the Sapporo Snow Festival.
At the eastern end of Odori Park stands the Sapporo TV Tower, which has an observation deck with nice views of the park and the surrounding city. The tower is just under 150 meters tall, and the observation deck is at an elevation of 90 meters. During the evening the tower is illuminated, making it an attractive landmark in the night sky. The park is surrounded by commercial buildings, it is connected thru Odori Subway Station. We were at the underground station before we came up to take a walk at the park. Since it was a weekday morning, everybody's rushing for work. It just like Kuala Lumpur, just another city.

It's a very clean and nice park here, it would be great for the office people to spend their lunch time at here. See some greens, feel the peace. It does help to destress.

27th July 2012, 9.09am, shown on the Sapporo TV Tower. You and I, were here, I hope the time stop at this moment.

Although Japan electrical technology is so advance, but still a public phone can be found on the street.
moshi ~ moshi ~
Each of the flower theme was sponsored by different company, it shown on the signage. How nice if our country practice this too.

Spotted sunflower here too !

Summer celebration was held at this park too, many food and beverage stall can be found here.

The event schedule for the month of July.

It was a relaxing morning, we were given like 2hrs to walk around the park, the park is huge, separated by some roads, once cross through, the park continue.
Play around at middle of the street. :-P
Didn't thought of going up to the Sappora TV Tower earlier, by the time we reach here, its time to get on the bus again. So, left another regret at here, a panoramic view of Odori Park can be seen from the higher point of the Tower.

Next Destination : Hokkaido Shrine (北海道神宮 Hokkaidō Jingū)

Cleanse before entering the Shrine.

Japanase get their blessing here for their children. Some for cars, to bless for the safety.
Entrance to the Shrine
A blessing ceremony was going on in the shrine.

Throw in a coin, pray & make a wish.

You may leave your wishes here too.

Blend with the nature, feel the peace.

How big is it ?
Crab with palm size body !
Each of us was served with 1 whole abalone!

After lunch, we were brought to our last stop of the trip -- MITSUI OUTLET PARK.
Just an ordinary shopping complex with hypermarket, branded shops and cafeteria.

The place that we like the most is the hypermarket, as here could find most of the local stuff.

Of course! Who can resist Hokkaido Ice Cream !

Last ice cream of the trip!
  Extra ordinary large Radish!
Cute Radish! (I guess rabbit like this too? )

The hypermarket is not very huge, just about 30 minutes, we had done the discovery of local food there.

Then, we took a walk at the mall, nothing interesting.

We were given about 4 hours to spent in here, which was the longer stop among the whole trip. But we are not interested in shopping in a Shopping Mall, as we could do this every weekend when back to Kuala Lumpur.

It was so bored to just window shopping with nothing interesting to look at. Finally, we felt tired. Then, here we saw some kids were like doing some sort of artwork here, I decided to check it out at the counter, and found out the Alpaca soft toy was on sale here. I bought this, and a pack of material to make the mini Alpaca. After paid for the toy, I turned and see Jack had already sit and relax at the artwork table.
Cute right ? (Not me!) lolz..
Since we had nothing much to do here, so we just sit here to kill some time.

Sorry Alpaca, I didn't mean to kill you to kill my time.

Since its really got so much time to spend here, Jack started the mission - The Making of Mini Alpaca !

Step 1 : Make the ears

Step 2 : Poke in the eyes!

Failed !

Poke harder !
Chiang ~

Step 3 : Add hairs for the head.
Stretch the hairs to make it fluffy !
Oits! I don't want hairy Alpaca ! Redo!

Chiang ~

Okay ! Now the body part !
Step 4 : Add hairs to body.
Put on a platform (a sponge actually)
Alpaca : Ouch ! My Head!!
Alpaca : hehe ~ itchy la ~
Poke ! Poke !
Ahhh ~ Finally !
Here comes the BIG ALPACA and the teacher version mini Alpaca.

Happy with the smiley face Alpaca.

Step 5 : Tie the string with the bell around the neck.

OUCHH ! Remove the "Poke-r" please!!!
Chiang ~ FINISHED !

Left : Made by Jack ; Right : Sample made by teacher

Mission Accomplished !

Haha.. Jack is good at artwork too !
After the mission, we still got time to wander around... ahh.. felt like wasting time in here.. >.<..

And the day is ending soon..

Last night in Hokkaido, we stayed in this hotel - Kitahiroshima Classe Hotel.

Last Onsen that we enjoyed!

Check out my first Onsen experience here : In Love with Hokkaido の Onsen Experience .

I wish I could come back here again, in different seasons, experience different view and feel.

If health, time and financial allow, I would definitely come here by own arrangement, so that could really enjoy what we call ... LIFE !

till then.. Sayonara, my love -- HOKKAIDO !

Chillax @ The Neem Boutique Resort, Melaka

THE NEEM, a place that welcome you with wavy trees, chirping birds and warm greeting people! The feeling is just like.....

~ HOME ~

Was here last weekend with a bunch of crazy friends, it is located a Banda Hilir, Melaka, just about 10 minutes walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan.

As there is no "TURN IN HERE" signage at the junction, we had missed the junction and had to make a big round to come back here coz its a one way street. For the 2nd time, contacted the friend who been here before, after passing Hotel Equatorial, must slow down and look for the building of "Huang Association", right after the building, there is this small road turning in to the left (the road is VERY small, its just a lorong actually, ngam ngam for 1 car to pass only).
Finally, we had reached the destination. Was welcomed by a great smile by Ms. Rebecca aka Becky, there were a couple sitting at the living hall, Becky introduced them to us too! She then guide us to to our chalet -- Ixora.…
